TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION/WRITING EVENT On August 31st, 2013

IEC GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS & STC ORGANIZATION ORGANIZED TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION/WRITING EVENT

VENUE: IEC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY,GREATER NOIDA.

The Event focused on bridging the gap between Academics and Corporate Sectors and to opt Technical Communication/Writing as a career option. The event was hosted by IGSC & Co-ordination Team and the Guest Lectures were delivered by:

  •  Rajeev Jain (lead-Technical Publications) is a published author and business management professional with more than 20 yrs of experience in the IT industry. He is leading a team of technical writers spread across India, UK, and Denmark, and US.
  • Madhumita Sharma(Manager – Technical Writing, Safe net): Madhumita is managing a team of technical writers at Safe net. She has more than 13 years of experience in this field.

They made the students aware about the Skills required to be a successful Technical Writer as well as made them aware about the Corporate Expectations & the Current Scenario in the field of Technical Communication & Technical Writing.

To make this more effective a properly formatted Presentation was also presented by the Speakers.

The Event was also followed by a Question & Answer Session during which students cleared their doubts and were given proper guidance by both the Speakers.

In the last the Event took off followed by a Photography Session along with IGSC(IEC Google Student Community) Introduction.
The IGSC introduced the GSA(Google Student Ambassador)Program as well as themselves.
They also delivered a powerful speech regarding the student involvement and initiation in the Events and Competitions organised by IGSC.
